Smith Advisory Board members offer advice to the Dean on Smith's strategy and initiatives, while providing a vital link with the business community.
The Board's role is to:
- Offer the Dean and the School an outside perspective on issues affecting business that may have educational or research implications
- Provide assistance and advice on School strategy and execution
- Be ambassadors for the School: with the broader Queen's community; with Smith alumni; and other external associations and organizations
- Aid the School in recruiting students into degree programs and non-degree executive education programs, as well as in placing students upon graduation
- Assist the School with its financial development needs
