Double Degree Options
Qualified students have the option of pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Smith School of Business in addition to the Master of Finance (MFin). Smith's Full-time MBA is a 12-month program taken at Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario.
Option 1
Completing the MBA first (recommended)
In this option, upon completing the Kingston-based MBA program in December, you may enter the MFin - Beijing program in China starting the following September. Some of your MBA course credits may be transferable and, in these cases, your tuition fees for the MFin - Beijing program will be reduced accordingly.
You may also choose to take a longer hiatus between programs and enter the MFin - Beijing program at a later date.
Option 2
Completing the MFin first
In this option, upon completing the MFin - Beijing program in July, you may enter the full-time MBA program in Kingston, Canada starting the following January. Some of your MFin course credits may be transferable and, in these cases, your tuition fees for the MBA program will be reduced accordingly.
You may also choose to take a longer hiatus between programs and enter the MBA program at a later date.
