Beginning each year in June, Smith's Master of Finance allows you to earn a world-class degree in just 12 months without leaving your current job.

Classes are held one evening per week, and one day on alternate weekends. Although this program can be completed while you work, it is considered a full-time program.

This program is also offered in Beijing, China.

The combination of a Master of Finance degree and a CFA Certification will provide you with a significant competitive advantage in your career.

The Master of Finance program at Smith is a CFA Institute Program Partner and we maintain a close relationship with the Toronto chapter of the CFA Society. This relationship provides numerous benefits for our students, including opportunities to attend CFA events, high profile guest speakers and CFA scholarships. The Economist has called the CFA the “gold standard among investment analysis designations.”

The majority of our students have completed CFA Level 1 or 2 and some are full Charter members. However, we do provide optional preparation sessions for those interested in writing the CFA Level 1, 2 or 3 exam during the year.
