Program Schedule
16 Months from Start to Finish
The Smith Executive MBA is a significant commitment and an investment in your professional and personal growth. The 16-month schedule is intentionally designed to provide an immersive learning experience while allowing you to continue balancing the demands of your career and personal life.
Classes are typically held all day Friday and Saturday morning every other week, giving you 12 days between class weekends to manage work, business travel, family commitments, and your studies.
Saturday afternoons on class weekends provide dedicated time to connect and collaborate with your team, work on group assignments, prepare for presentations, and consolidate your learning. This time can also be used for tutorials and consultations with faculty, providing additional support when you need it.
Balanced Workload
The Smith Executive MBA typically requires a commitment of approximately 20+ hours per week, including class time. Exams, projects, and assignments are thoughtfully distributed throughout the year, helping you establish a consistent and manageable work cadence. This balanced approach allows you to plan ahead and integrate the demands of the program with your professional and personal commitments.
