How we process emotions impacts how we perceive ourselves and how we express ourselves to others. It also impacts our relationships at work, the decisions we make and how well we manage stress and lead others.

Being emotionally intelligent is about building self-awareness and using emotions in the most effective way in our day-to-day interactions.

So how can we lead with emotional intelligence?

On Thursday, April 20 at 1 p.m. (ET) join Smith Business Insight and Queen’s Executive Education for this free 60-minute webinar. Led by Rumeet Billan, CEO of Women of Influence+, participants will explore tools and strategies that foster the development of emotional intelligence at work.

You will learn to:

  • Recognize and understand the five composite scales of emotional intelligence
  • Interpret and illustrate how each scale impacts your role and different stakeholders in your industry
  • Examine connections between specific subscales and personal and professional experiences
  • Evaluate current strategies and identify new strategies that can be used for effective interaction with others
  • Develop strategies that can be integrated into the workplace to foster the development of emotional intelligence
