Biography
Embedded in the contemporary debates at the intersection of corporate sustainability and strategy, such as “Strategy can no Longer Ignore Planetary Boundaries” and “A Pragmatist Perspective on Tackling Grand Challenges,” my research investigates factors that influence organizations in their efforts to become more sustainable and contribute to environmental and social well-being. My research program is structured around four themes, including leadership, partnership, strategy, and operations. More specifically, I am interested in the following research topics: Micro-foundations of corporate sustainability, Corporate sustainability performance, Cross-sector partnerships, Sustainability management (strategic and operational), Unintended consequences of sustainability-related innovations, Knowledge economy, and Humanitarian engineering.Educational Background
