Angeline MacIvor, Director, AI in IT Operations at Moogsoft, will be speaking on technology advances in the area of machine learning and AI and how big data, IT operations management and automation are starting to show promise in the area of self-healing environments. A specific focus of Angeline’s discussion within these environments will be on the emerging domain of AI Operations.
AIOps, a term coined by Gartner in 2016, applies analytics and machine learning to big data to automate and improve IT operations. Since its arrival, AIOps has grown from automation and improvement toward garnering real insights from IT data to help make business decisions. In a self-healing environment, AIOps goes even further. It provides the ability to move IT from a reactive monitoring approach to proactive identification before an outage or system-wide problem ever occurs in the first place, correcting itself in the process.

Angeline is a customer facing technology expert for Moogsoft Inc., with responsibility for Canada. Her goal is to educate and enable organizations to benefit from the emerging field of machine learning.
Angeline has a 22-year background in complex network analytics, and has held roles in sales, marketing, channel management and new product introduction. She joined Moogsoft after successfully launching a startup machine learning platform for social media monitoring within the public safety market.
