People Analytics – An Industry Panel

This 1-hour discussion will bring to surface some of the larger trends in the People Analytics space including how organizations use their HR data, common practices and how PA has impacted business processes or results within areas like recruitment, engagement, turnover and retention.

Ian Cook is the VP of People Analytics at Visier where he is responsible for continually enhancing the depth of insight available within their leading edge platform. Ian is recognized for his leadership and insight in the area of workforce analytics and planning.

Prior to joining Visier, Ian built Canada's leading source of HR Benchmarking data. His knowledge and expertise comes from 10+ years of consulting to global companies. Ian holds an MA from Edinburgh University (UK) and an MBA from Lancaster University (UK).

Julio Quiceno is the Director of HR Reporting at Scotiabank. Julio brings a strong strategic mindset to his team along with proven success in designing and implementing HR customer driven solutions. With over 10 years of HR experience at Scotiabank, Julio has expertise in talent acquisition and management, adult learning and development and change management. Julio holds a Master's degree in Social Management from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and earned his MBA from McGill.

Peter McBride is the Head of Global HR Ops at Behavox where he leads talent systems, data & reporting as well as performance & rewards programs for over 1000 employees worldwide. With the company’s increased presence in Canada, Peter is responsible for developing team talent, effective and compliant process and management and board reporting.

Prior to joining Behavox, Peter built his HR background with experiences in global telecom as well as in the NFP sector at Canadian Blood Services. Peter is a Certified Professional Coach and attended the University of Toronto.
