AI in the Pension Industry - A Conversation with Qahir Rajwani
November 4, 2021Qahir Rajwani took questions from our Master of Management Analytics and Master of Management Artificial Intelligence students about the challenges faced leading his team, the projects they are working, and the ethics of working in analytics in the pension fund industry. In recent news, mass resignations of healthcare employees have also increased the need for robust management of the HOOPP fund and Qahir engaged with us on how analytics can play its part.
Qahir Rajwani is a Smith MMA graduate and has been leading analytics teams since he completed the program in 2015. Currently, he heads Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan's analytics division in this unique sector where the fund is advancing into more use-cases for analytics and taking the next steps to AI proof of concepts.
