A No. 1 degree in Canada

Our Master of International Business secured a top spot in the 2021 Financial Times ranking of global master in management programs, including a No. 1 ranking in Canada.

The Master of International Business (MIB) placed 54th out of 100 ranked programs from across the globe, including a top 25 ranking for international mobility in the annual FT ranking that was released in September 2021.

Only four programs in North America made the top 100, with Smith ranked No. 1 in Canada and No. 2 in North America.

Notably, Smith MIB alumni rated their overall satisfaction with the program at 92 per cent. Only 25 other schools received such high praise.

The FT Master in Management ranking is based on a wide range of criteria, including program design, value for money, student career progress, diversity of both students and faculty, and international experience and reach.

The Smith MIB program offers an incomparable opportunity to people with international business aspirations—with a curriculum that covers issues ranging from the global economy to cross-cultural leadership.

The full-time program is available in single and double-degree options. Both offer international study options, with the double-degree option giving students the chance to earn a second master’s degree from one of Smith’s international business school partners.
