Our fiscal year
At Smith, we once again exceeded our enrolment targets in the second year of the global pandemic. Demand for education across our portfolio of programs remained strong while travel, food and other program delivery costs remained low in the remote environment. As we enter the next phase of the pandemic and as demand for labour remains strong, we are seeing early signals that these strong pandemic related enrolment figures may come down and plateau to pre-pandemic levels. The charts below break down sources and uses of income for our 2021-2022 fiscal year (May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022).
