While in the program, Meaghan retired from a 16-year career with the Canadian National Women's Hockey Team and ran her own company designed to oversee and facilitate speaking engagements, brand partnerships, and sponsorships. She made a seamless transition from hockey player and professional athlete to on-air talent working for Sportsnet as a full-time NHL analyst providing colour commentary covering the Calgary Flames for Sportsnet Radio as well as regular appearances on Regional TV broadcasts.
