CPA Designation

The Chartered Professional Accountant designation is the most highly prized and universally recognized accounting designation. It was introduced in Canada in 2013, following the merger of the three professional accounting bodies—CA, CMA and CGA.

With Smith’s Graduate Diploma in Accounting, you will qualify to write the CPA Professional Exams (CFE) in only 15 months—a much shorter timeframe than certifying through CPA’s Professional Education Program which can take up to 27 months.

Adam Drewry

“I really enjoyed my time in the GDA program. Key differentiators for me were a knowledgeable and diverse faculty; convenient schedule with afternoons off; and ability to receive tailored feedback on my cases. Specifically - the GDA integrates cases and feedback from Densmore, a well-respected CFE preparation program. This end-to-end approach played a pivotal role in my success on the CFE in my first attempt.”
