Expected Graduation Year: 2028
Biography
My research explores the continuing professional development (CPD) of accountants through qualitative methods, examining how professionals navigate evolving standards and practices, how Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) claim legitimacy for their profession to the public, and how knowledge is affected by the various social representations and interactions in the accounting discipline.I am also interested in how CPAs and other professions are portrayed in popular culture, analysing the narratives and perceptions that these representations create for the public about the profession.
