The Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Social Impact is hosting the regional Hult Prize competition at Queen’s University.
Hult Prize is a Global Pitch competition inspiring students to solve the world's biggest challenges through Social Entrepreneurship. Through a year-long competition, students from 120+ countries create high-impact startups that support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Finalists pitch their businesses to a panel of expert judges and the winning team receives $1 Million USD in funding to make their idea a reality.

2026 Pitch Competition
The 2026 Pitch Competition has officially kicked off! Whether you’re looking to take your existing startup to the next level or are inspired to build a brand-new business, we invite you to participate.
Registration Guidelines
- Teams must be comprised of 2-4 students
- The startup must tackle one of the Sustainable Development Goals
- The startup can be an existing entity, you do not have to create a new startup to compete
- One member of your team must be a current Queens University student
- You must complete all applications and follow all deadlines in order to pitch
Each team will be given 4 minutes to pitch and then have 4 minutes of Q&A to convince the judges that they are the best team to represent Queen’s University at the next stage.
