The program fee is all-inclusive, covering tuition, books, all learning materials, career and team coaching, as well as meals and accommodation during the residential sessions held at Smith School of Business.

Fees are subject to final approval from the Queen's Board of Trustees.

International students will be required to purchase the University Health Insurance Plan
(UHIP) if they cannot provide evidence of equivalent coverage. A person is classified as a
Domestic Student if they have Canadian citizenship, landed immigrant status, permanent
resident status or dual Canadian citizenship. Key information can be found at

Why Should You Secure Pre-Approval?

Tuition loan pre-approval will save you time. While credit approval does not guarantee acceptance into Smith, your financial application, submitted at the same time as your Executive MBA application, will give you a head start and ultimately, peace of mind.

Acceptance to the Smith MBA program does not guarantee or imply qualification for financing.

Personal Income Tax Treatment of Tuition Fees

Participants who pay all or part of the program fees personally, may be eligible to claim a tuition tax credit on the tuition portion of the fees. For more information, ask a professional income tax advisor to give you an assessment of the impact of your tuition on your personal tax situation.

RRSP Withdrawals

You and your spouse may be eligible to make tax-free withdrawals from your RRSPs of up to $20,000 each over two years to help fund your education. Please contact your income tax advisor for details.

Canada-Alberta Job Grant
