Kingston, ON – August 30, 2016—It was a great night of food, music, dance and philanthropy when Queen’s MBA students hosted the fourth annual Charity Gala Aug. 25 at BLU Martini.

More than 150 guests attended the ‘Shaken Not Stirred’ event sponsored by RBC and supporting Addiction & Mental Health Services – Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington.

This year’s event raised more than $7,000 to help establish a Waitlist Clinic in downtown Kingston to support those in immediate need of mental health services and for whom services are not currently available.

Founded in 2013, the Queen’s MBA Charity Gala is a student-led initiative that aims to make a difference within the Kingston community by supporting a local charity or philanthropic cause. To date, the MBA Charity Gala has raised more than $35,000 for a diverse range of Kingston organizations, including the H’art Centre, Almost Home and Right To Play.
