Kingston, Feb. 6, 2014 — Fourth-year Commerce student Jeffrey Ralphs took home $6,000 for his first place finish and Viewer’s Choice award for best presentation at the BMO Apex Business Plan Competition at the University of New Brunswick. The competition, held in Fredericton on Jan. 22-24, brought together 37 business students from across Canada.

Jeffrey’s venture, KRG Racing, is developing an exercise system that enables men and women of all fitness levels to improve core strength and balance. His venture is attracting attention – he won the $5,000 top prize in QSB’s Paul and Tom Kinnear Business Plan Competition in 2013, and another $5,000 by placing in two categories at the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition (QEC) in January.
