“I chose Smith’s MFIT program for two reasons: reputation and innovation. Whenever you discuss the top business schools in Canada, Smith is always in the conversation. There are very few business schools in the country where the name alone is as much of an asset as Smith. I have also yet to meet a Smith alumnus that didn’t rave about their time at the school. Smith seemed to be a trailblazer for graduate degrees that would equip you for the workforce of the future. The MFIT, the MMA, the MMAI, the MMIE — no other university offered a suite of graduate business degrees with such an innovative and forward-looking perspective. This told me that Smith was keeping a pulse check on what the job market will need, and not what it has needed.”
