Profile

Full Bio

Dr. Wang specializes in wildlife operations research. He develops sophisticated models and algorithms to improve decision-making in wildlife management. How can we make efficient use of limited resources to protect threatened species? Can we prevent the next pandemic by monitoring and controlling pathogens in wild animals? To answer these questions, he collaborates closely with ecologists and managers in wildlife agencies worldwide,  collecting and analyzing first-hand data and providing data-driven recommendations for practitioners.
