Full Bio

Darren McCaugherty is Director, Program Services in the Professional Graduate Programs at Smith School of Business, Queen’s University. He has held administrative leadership positions since joining the school in 2003. During his time at Smith, Darren has been actively involved with managing and executing recruitment, admissions, and delivery strategies for all of the professional graduate programs from an operational standpoint. In addition, he has played an integral role in launching new programs in the Smith graduate program portfolio.

He began teaching in 2010 and has taught several Commerce and non-Commerce undergraduate courses in Business Management.

Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

In terms of volunteer work, Darren is actively involved with the local sports community. He coaches competitive minor hockey teams and he is actively involved with participating on boards of local sports organizations.
