Jane is an Adjunct Lecturer, Smith School of Business, Queen’s University teaching Strategic Project Management and preparing MBA students for success in careers involving Project Management. Jane has taught Project Management, Research Methods, and Information Systems courses for the past 20 years since earning her PhD at Western University, Ivey School of Business. Jane holds her Project Management Professional credential and is an active member of the Project Management Institute.

Jane is an Adjunct Lecturer, Smith School of Business, Queen’s University teaching Strategic Project Management and preparing MBA students for success in careers involving Project Management. Jane has taught Project Management, Research Methods, and Information Systems courses for the past 20 years since earning her PhD at Western University, Ivey School of Business.

Jane holds her Project Management Professional credential and is an active member of the Project Management Institute. Jane is Editor-in-Chief of the Open Access Teaching Case Journal, a peer-reviewed free-to-use, free-to publish journal aimed to reduce barriers to high-quality education and is an avid case researcher with many case research publications in leading journals.

Jane’s research and scholarly work is aligned with the United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (UN PRME) aimed to bring engaging, relevant and impactful content to classroom discussions intended to develop students analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills including consideration toward the broader impact of decisions for students’ longer-term success going forward.

Jane has served on the Executive Committee for leading national and international case research conferences for the past several years and has been an active contributor to these conferences for the past 20 years.

Jane’s most recent research focuses on framing business problems in a variety of disciplines with a sustainability lens to advance understanding of the impact and broader stakeholders involved when problems are viewed through this systems thinking lens.
