Introduction to Case - Workshop Facilitator

A Workshop Facilitator position is open at the Smith School of Business to facilitate a workshop on an Introduction to Case in the Full-Time MBA program.

The workshop is described as follows:

A 3 hour workshop will be focused on helping students understand how to work through the problem-solving process. This will include how to structure an approach, appropriately leverage analytical tools, and communicate effectively. The session is designed to provide a ‘taste’ of what the Distinctly Case Program (DCP) will be like, incorporating live practice examples to make it interactive. Of course, all examples and exercises will be different from what students are going to see during DCP.

Workshop Delivery Dates and Times*:
3 hours of live classroom delivery in total.

Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include: a Master’s or Ph.D. degree, and familiarity and professional experience in facilitating similar workshops and/or teaching.

Compensation

Standard faculty workshop hourly rate of $451.33

Vaccination Requirements

Prior to May 1, 2022, the University required all students, faculty, staff, and visitors (including contractors) to declare their COVID-19 vaccination status and provide proof that they were fully vaccinated or had an approved accommodation to engage in in-person University activities.
