Eva Wong

For Eva Wong, a successful consultant who had done work for companies all around the world, including Maple Leaf Foods and the United Nations Development Programme, joining a fintech startup was an unexpected career move. Though she lacked technical and entrepreneurial experience, she believed in friend Andrew Graham, and joined him to launch Borrowell, a credit education company that helps Canadians make better decisions about loans, mortgages, credit cards and investing products. As a result of Borrowell's success, Eva was named to Innovate Finance's 2017 'Women in FinTech Powerlist' and was a finalist in the 'FinTech Woman of the Year' category of LendIt FinTech's 2017 industry awards.
