Kingston, Ont. – The Financial Times has ranked the full-time MBA at Smith School of Business in the top 100 in its annual ranking of global MBA programs.

For the second consecutive year, Smith was No. 1 in the country for overall satisfaction with the program, as rated by alumni three years post-graduation. Smith was also the top-ranked Canadian school for career services, which includes career coaching, personal development and other support for students to build their profile and network.

“A great MBA experience goes beyond the classroom – to networking, personal growth and an exceptional support system,” said Elspeth Murray, associate dean, MBA and masters programs. “With the best career outcomes in Canada, clearly we are succeeding in helping students achieve their goals.”

Smith’s MBA class of 2021 saw 98 per cent of students with an accepted job offer within three months of graduation. Alumni secured jobs with leading organizations in financial services, consulting, consumer goods and technology.

The Financial Times Global MBA ranking is based on four categories of criteria: career progress; diversity; research; and environmental, social and governance (ESG). Data is collected from a survey of schools and a survey of alumni three years after graduation.
