MBA and Queen’s Law Charity Gala benefits Right to Play

Kingston, Feb. 18, 2014 – Rosie MacLennan, Canada’s 2012 Olympic gold medalist in trampoline, holds a cheque (at left, with student organizers) representing funds raised at the second annual Charity Gala in support of Right to Play.  The Feb. 1st event, hosted by members of the MBA and Queen’s Law classes, brought out 110 students, guests, faculty and staff, to hear Rosie’s inspirational address and to contribute to this worthy cause. A total of $9,400 was donated to Right to Play, a global organization that uses the transformative power of play to educate and empower children facing adversity in more than 20 countries.
