Four QSB Commerce grads on Marketing magazine’s '30 under 30' list

Kingston, ON – Oct. 10, 2014 - Marketing magazine’s annual '30 under 30' list of the country’s top young marketers named four Commerce grads to its annual list released Oct. 7.  The strong QSB alumni contingent is comprised of:

•    Bram Warshafsky and Rachel Zimmer, both BCom’10s, both Partners at  5 Crowd Inc., a Toronto start-up that supplies freelance designers, writers and animators to marketing departments on a just-in-time basis.
•    Nathan Roth, BCom’07, Senior Manager, Digital and Social, Koodo Mobile and Public Mobile, a new department that Nathan built from scratch.
•    Katie Elder, BCom’06, leader of the Shopper Marketing Team for the P&G portfolio at Walmart Canada, responsible for creating customized marketing plans on all top-priority product launches at the retailer.

The four made the list after being nominated along with more than 300 fellow young marketers from across the country.

As Marketing magazine said in introducing this year’s contingent, “We encourage you to read up on each one, because there’s a good chance you’ll be seeing them speaking at conferences, leading companies and disrupting the industry in the next few years. You might even find yourself working for one sometime soon.”
