Commerce team places 3rd at CaseIT MIS competition in Vancouver

Kingston, ON — Feb. 13, 2014

A Queen’s Commerce team was one of 16 finalists at the 10th annual CaseIT MIS (Management Information Systems) competition at Simon Fraser University, held Feb. 5-8. In competing against teams from around the world, Winston Zhang, Ivy Xu and Eric Wu nabbed third place by impressing the judges with their presentation.

The team was coached by MIS Professor Kathryn Brohman and Jaril Valenciano, a member of the QSB team that placed second at last year’s competition.
