I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I spent ten years working in technique and research, earned a Master of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering and worked as an engineer at a world-leading technology R&D center in South Korea. However, I always knew that I wanted to add an MBA to my profile. My goal is to complement my technology background with leadership skills and business acumen enhanced by an MBA experience. The Smith MBA program stood out to me as one of the best Canadian MBA programs with its team-based learning approach, extensive coaching offerings (career, executive, team and health and wellness), united cohort and strong alumni network.

I am impressed by the Smith MBA’s dedicated program administration staff and faculty members. They were most helpful during my application, as my visa was being processed and during the earliest weeks of my MBA journey. Here at Smith School of Business, I feel the warmth of being at home. I receive all the support necessary to achieve my career goals. Although I have been through only one month of the program, I am confident about my future.

The best advice I could give to any applicant is to reach out to the faculty and be more active and creative from the beginning of the application process. This is not just about the MBA entrance; this is a better opportunity to understand your personality, goals, and career potential. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about my experience.
