I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

The program’s focus on team-based learning and relatively small class size compared to other programs. Deciding to join an MBA program given the world's state in 2020 was not an easy one. However, I recognized that to take the next step in my career; I needed to invest in developing my interpersonal and communication skills. The Smith MBA program, amongst other aspects, offered me the opportunity to develop these skills in an environment filled with people from diverse backgrounds.

Another factor that was crucial in my decision process was the support I got from the program staff and the Smith alumni community. I felt supported in every step of the process. I found that anyone I reached out to, whether it was the program administration staff, current students, or alumni, everyone was willing to help and give me advice.

My advice to a would applicant would be: take the time to understand what is required of you and have a good idea of what you are looking for in an MBA program. This is very important during and after the application process, and you will be asked that question a lot!
