I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I came to the Smith MBA because of the experiential learning opportunities the course curriculum will allow me to explore by creating strategic solutions for clients in diverse industries. This exposure is vital to broadening my problem-solving abilities. Moreover, in teaming with a diverse peer-group across projects, I will learn crucial perspectives on how different people approach business problems across business functions, organizations, industries, and geographies. And finally, the Smith MBA differentiates on the team-based learning approach, smaller class size and alumni responsiveness. These three factors form the base for a healthy support system that I can leverage in my career.

If I could go back a year and advise myself knowing what I know now, I would never apply to any other business schools. The experience has been so satisfying for me until this date. The faculty does everything in their capacity to provide a multitude of resources for the students. I would suggest that a future applicant be honest as well as self-aware. I would also suggest that they enroll in the program if they are team players because teamwork is an integral part of the MBA. As a Smith graduate, I want to enhance my exposure to the consulting industry as I aspire to work with a global consulting firm and lead strategic implementation efforts in industries like retail, manufacturing and healthcare.
