I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

it offers an unmatched learning opportunity in a setting that is as close as you can get to real world experience. I liked the idea of team-based approach to learning where you get the unique chance to work with a diverse group of individuals, challenge yourself to be better and to learn from others.

If I could go back one year in time and give myself any advice on applying, it would be to trust the process, not to stress out too much about GMAT score and to complete your application sooner!

I found the sense of community at Smith exemplary amongst all the business schools that I was considering. My Application Advisor was very patient and supportive through my entire application process (which took months to complete!) and it reinforced my trust in Smith’s culture. I got the sense that I would not be just a student number to the program, and I was not wrong. By the first day of school, the entire staff knew me by my name and were all welcoming and supportive in every imaginable sense.

Upon graduation, I am hoping to transition into human capital management. I am planning to focus on improving my analytical and leadership skills through this year where I can learn necessary tools to be a productive member of my community.
