Time spent at European beaches during their third-year exchange served as more than just a relaxing pastime for Hyla Nayeri and Adrien Bettio. The pair were inspired by the beachwear scene and decided to start a Canadian swimwear line modeled after the sophisticated European styles they loved. 437 Swimwear (named after the Johnson Street address in Kingston where the two lived at as students) has a variety of bathing suits meant to flatter all bodies. Another distinguishing factor? "We treat every single customer as a friend", said Hyla, of their belief in personalized service.
