Term Adjunct - Analytical Decision Making

A Term Adjunct Teaching Position is open at the Smith School of Business for an instructor to teach at our Kingston, Ontario campus in a lecture-style graduate course in the Full-Time MBA Program. The course is MBAS 861: Analytical Decision Making, and is an elective course. MBAS 861 will be offered between November 1, 2018 and December 7, 2018, with a maximum enrollment of 60 students.

Term Adjunct - Marketing Analytics

A Term Adjunct Teaching Position is open at the Smith School of Business for an instructor to teach at our Toronto facility, 200 Front St. West, in a lecture-style graduate course in the Master of Management Analytics Program. The course is MMA 831: Marketing Analytics, and is a required course. MMA 831 will be offered between June 2019 and August 2019, with a maximum enrollment of 60 students.

Postdoctoral Fellow - Strategy and Organizations

The Centre for Social Impact at Smith School of Business, Queen’s University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance its research mission. More specifically, the candidate will lead and support research exploring culture with the intent to publish in both academic and practitioner journals. This position requires full-time work in research activities, with opportunities to co-author publications and present research at national and international conferences. Relevant research background includes: institutional theory, culture and qualitative research methodologies. This is a one-year position, with the possibility for renewal for an additional year contingent on achievements. Teaching opportunities may also be available to the successful candidate. The Centre for Social Impact aims to: foster education in topics of social impact through our Certificate programs; lead and support research in the topics of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, and community development and resilience; enhance the student experience at Smith through outreach and advocacy opportunities; and build networks with peers, professionals and academics working in the area of social impact. This is a new position and one of a select number of Chaired Professors named in honour of Queen’s alumnus Stephen J.R. Smith, whose generous $50 million gift in 2015 resulted in the renaming of the school: The Stephen J.R. Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
