A team of Queen’s Commerce students brought home first place in the NUS-DBS International Case Competition held in Lion City, Singapore, in September. Teams from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America competed at the inaugural five-day event, hosted by the National University of Singapore Business School and sponsored by DBS Bank, one of the largest financial services groups in Asia.

To make the experience even more challenging, the format of the competition was not announced until the teams arrived in Singapore. “The students gave their ‘A’ game all around and really nailed the case,” Prof. George Boland said of the win.
