The Vancouver Olympic Games were celebrated by the area’s QSB alumni and members of the local business and sports communities at an event featuring Dr. Peter Jensen, CEO of Performance Coaching Inc., team psychologist for the Canadian women’s Olympic hockey team and a top-rated instructor in the School’s executive programs.

Co-hosted by Gloria Saccon, Director, EMBA Program, on behalf of the School, and Vancouverite Brian Peters, EMBA’10, the event took place at Vancouver’s historic Wing Sang Building, site of the Olympians Reunion Centre during the Games. The highlight of the evening was Peter’s dynamic presentation about the way Olympic athletes prepare for the pressure of competition day. He gave some intriguing examples of how lessons from Olympians can help executives perform under pressure in the business world.
