Scale-Up Summit

The Scale-Up Summit is one of the largest student-run conferences in the country and has continually served as a unique forum for future leaders to learn from, and connect with, current disruptors at the cutting edge of innovation in the corporate world. It provides a platform for business leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators to share their stories and learnings with young professional and graduate students. Our MBA students take the lead on planning and hosting the event and they collaborate with students of our Master of Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship program.

Charity Gala

The Charity Gala was founded and operated by the MBA students of the Class of 2013. It was an opportunity for the students to leave their mark in Kingston. Each year, our students have continued the tradition to support and raise funds for a local charity and have raised over $90,000 for various Kingston organizations since its conception.

Reticle

Reticle is a series of activities hosted by trained special operations personnel, focused on developing mental, emotional and physical resiliency. Each year, our students participate in various challenges surrounded by ambiguity and adversity, coming out the other side a stronger team with a deeper understanding of their abilities.

“The Reticle challenge was an exhilarating experience that pushed us beyond our boundaries, both mentally and physically. The challenge allowed us to witness how we react to adverse situations, and it was the best way to welcome the cohort to the Smith MBA.”
