Relay for life
Issue:
A team of 12 graduates of the Ottawa Executive MBA Class of 2008, along with friends and family, participated in the Canadian Cancer Society’s 10th Annual ‘Relay for Life’ in June. Each member walked or ran for an hour in an overnight relay that raised nearly $10,000 in pledges and won the award for the most funds raised by a rookie team. Their determination to help this worthy cause was inspired by one of their fellow team member’s current battle with cancer.
