Kenzie McNeil, MIB, has joined the Regional Municipality of York in the Greater Toronto Area as a Senior Budget and Policy Advisor. Previously, he worked in a Senior Finance role with Halifax Regional Municipality.

Joshua Seerattan, MIB, a self-described international adventurer, entrepreneur, investor and technological disruption enthusiast, has joined Ottawa-based investment firm and holding company Wesley Clover as an International Business Development Analyst. He is involved in the portfolio management of 40+ tech companies and the global expansion efforts of the firm, currently operating in Canada, the U.K., France and Turkey, with plans to enter other markets.

Kate Nesterova (MIB) has started a new job with P&G Canada in its Brand Management department as part of the fabric-care portfolio. Previously, Kate worked at Big Heart Pet Brands, managing all aspects of brand and trade marketing for its pet-food business.

Ainos Ngadya

Ainos Ngadya, MFin, moved to Africa on an assignment to build solar farms across Zimbabwe, Botswana and Swaziland. He has since constructed 25-megawatt solar plants such as the one below. “Such initiatives help to provide clean-energy access to millions of rural Africans who are [currently] relying on firewood and health-hazardous paraffin,” Ainos says.

Ainos Ngadya
Ainos Ngadya (MFin) launched Sahara Africa Opportunity Fund, managed via ANF Capital. The impact private equity fund mainly targets sub-Saharan Africa assets in the agriculture, tourism and food sectors. Typically, ANF Capital attempts to grow businesses by acting as a catalyst for change, achieved through establishing global linkages to unlock new possibilities.

Joze Piranian

Joze Piranian, MIB, says that after spending most of his life avoiding speaking due to a debilitating stutter, he is now a TEDx speaker and a standup comedian. Joze has performed in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. In 2017, he was the recipient of the Inspirational Speaker of the Year award at Speaker Slam. More recently, Joze was the keynote speaker on diversity and inclusion at the HR Leaders Summit in Calgary and Toronto. He also spoke on resilience at the PRMIA Canadian Risk Forum in Montreal and the Hollywood Innovation and Technology Summit in L.A.
