Jennifer Reynolds
Jennifer Reynolds, BCom’13, GDA’13, has joined CPA Ontario in the new role of vice-president of equity, diversity and inclusion. A CPA, Jennifer says she “looks forward to making a positive impact on the profession” and will focus on executing strategic inclusion initiatives that benefit the association’s members as well as students.

Jackie Rhind

Two years ago, Jackie Rhind, BCom’13, and her business partner Christina Witzel, Artsci’12, launched Ovry with the aim of making pregnancy tests more affordable, convenient, discreet and less wasteful. Today, Ovry’s reproductive health essentials are sold in over 600 stores in Canada. Jackie, who lives in Revelstoke, B.C. writes, “I’m excited to share that Ovry has been nominated for two awards through Small Business BC: the Premier People’s Choice Award and Best Youth Entrepreneur Award.” myovry.ca

David Sinkinson, MBA, Artsci’11, and his brother, Chris Sinkinson, MBA’11, Comp’02, co-founders of AppArmor, let us know that their company made Canadian Business’ Growth List of Canada’s fastest-growing companies for 2020. AppArmor has had five-year revenue growth of 400 per cent, placing it No. 192 on the overall list and No. 30 on the software-companies list. The Toronto-based firm develops custom-branded safety apps and emergency-notification systems. Its original product, the SeQure app, is still used at Queen’s, says David.

Jessica Weshler

Jessica Weshler, BCom’13, MMA’17, is excited to share that she’s launched a business venture that supports moms on their pregnancy journey. Check out Bloom Mama Consultancy on Instagram. Jessica lives in Toronto with her husband, David, and 14-month-old, Sam, and is the marketplace promotions manager at Achievers.

Augusta White, BCom, delivered a keynote address to Sophie, Countess of Wessex (wife of Prince Edward), and an audience of 300 at the 100 Women in Finance breakfast in Toronto in November on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards. Earlier this year, Augusta was appointed vice-president of the Ontario board for the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, an international self-directed youth achievement program, with participants in 130 countries, including 48,000 in Canada.

Agnes Wietrzynski, AMBA’13, was named to the “40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction” by On-Site magazine in January. Agnes is the president and CEO of QM Environmental. She was chosen to run the environmental and industrial services company last year by Wes Hall, LLD22, one of the Dragons on CBC’s Dragons’ Den. The 40 Under 40 recognizes young leaders in the construction industry. Agnes aims to more than double the size of QM and sits on the Ontario Environment Industry Association board.

Andrew F. Witzke
Andrew F. Witzke, BCom, Artsci’13, became engaged in June 2018 to Ivey business school graduate Shaylyn Harper. “So much for that rivalry,” he jokes, adding that they are planning their wedding for June 2020 in Toronto. He says that he and Shaylyn are enjoying living in Manhattan, but miss Canada and his “crazy Queen's friends" dearly. Andrew began a new role with McKinsey in August 2018, while Shaylyn is an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
