Mathieu Laberge, EMBAA’16, recently joined KPMG’s partnership. As a partner and regional leader of KPMG's economics and policy practice, he will continue to serve his private, not-for-profit and government clients in resolving some of their most prominent challenges related to the economy, market and policy environment. Mathieu lives in Ottawa.

Patrick Machacek, EMBA'16, has joined Red Deer Polytechnic as vice-president of development and partnerships. Prior to this, Patrick was vice-president of development and strategy at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology.

Emma Macintosh

Emma Macintosh, BCom’16, GDA’16, tells us she and Patrick Brown, BCom’12, were married in August and have taken sabbaticals from their respective jobs to spend seven months travelling. This particular snapshot was taken while swimming in the coastal area of Moalboal in the Philippines. “We jumped at the opportunity to take some extended time away from work and feel lucky to be travelling with the freedom that we have right now. It’s been an incredible experience. Needless to say, it will be hard to go back!”

Stephanie McCall, BCom, and Jeffrey McFarland, BCom’14, were married on Sept. 28, 2019. They met on Homecoming weekend in 2014. The McFarlands let us know that there were many fellow Queen’s alumni in their wedding party and among the guests.
