Daniel Megan, BCom, died suddenly at his family’s home in Florida in February. He was 20. Daniel was admitted to the Queen’s Commerce program at 14. Daniel is survived by his parents, John and Louise; siblings Zigmund Megan, Elizabeth Megan, Laura Megan-Posch and Suzanne Landkamer; and the love of his life and best friend, Emily Fuller.

Jenelle Peterson, AMBA, has launched The Wild | Life Outdoor Adventures. The company delivers monthly themed kits that contain tools and toys, activity cards, a nature-inspired craft, and a custom merit pin. With a range of age-appropriate activities designed in partnership with academic subject-matter experts to mirror Canadian curricula, The Wild | Life kits teach real-life skills, challenge kids, and allow them to build confidence and a lifelong relationship with nature. April Salas, EMBAA, was appointed to the board of directors of 3Degrees, a provider of renewable energy, transportation, decarbonization and sustainability solutions. April is executive director of the Revers Center for Energy at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.

Rudy Shirra, BCom, has been appointed manager of corporate development and investor relations for Sylogist Ltd., a software company. Rudy first joined the company in 2014 as a summer intern. After graduating, Rudy worked as a management consultant at Monitor Deloitte before rejoining Sylogist in 2019 as manager of corporate development.

Her responsibilities include defining, developing and executing TD’s mobile-wallet strategy and defining mobile-wallet marketing, media and communications plans to customers.

Cansu Tokmakci, BCom, has launched her own line of jewelry, Morya Jewelry, as an ode to the cities to which she has travelled and the people she has met. “I currently have six collections,” she says, “Budapest, Istanbul, Montreal, Rome, Paris and Seville.” Cansu says she designs her pieces with the architecture and culture of those cities in mind. “Each piece is named after a friend from that location as a way to shorten distances between us,” she says. “I always appreciated how special jewelry is and how it allows us to celebrate happy moments and create a story.” moryajewelry.com.
