She may have been too busy with school, ComSoc and ICBC, when the Ottawa Senators played their first games in 1992 to get caught up in the excitement, but that certainly wasn't the case by 2012. By then Erin Crowe had worked for the team for over a decade. "Now I live and breathe hockey," said Erin, the team's executive vice-president, CFO and alternate NHL governor. As one of the few women, and the youngest person in the room at senior NHL meetings, Erin had to prove to her peers that she belonged. After bringing the team back from bankruptcy, being named Ottawa's businesswoman of 2009 and one of Ottawa Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 2010 list, Erin's value is undeniable.
