Andrew Cherwenka (BCom) is pleased to announce his marriage to Carol Robinson in Las Vegas this past April. Andrew moved to Manhattan in March to open up and run the US office for Trapeze, a Toronto-based internet marketing agency.

Jacqueline Chilton, BCom’93, is excited to share that her daughter, Jessica, is enjoying her first year at Smith in the Commerce program. “She is co-captain of the Queen’s women’s water polo team that achieved a silver medal for the first time since 1993. Go Gaels!”

Jacqueline (Williams) Chilton (BCom), along with her husband Lewis and their two children, is currently residing in California’s Napa Valley, where she is a partner in the strategy consulting firm Glenbrook Partners and also co-owner, with her husband, of the Yountville Deli. After the state elections last November, Jacqueline was sworn in as a newly elected member of the Napa Valley Unified School Board.

Kristi Herold, BCom’93, is the founder of Sport & Social Group Inc. Since 1996, more than a million participants have joined one of her sport leagues for adults, where the focus is on being healthy and having fun. “Success to me means leaving a legacy that has positively impacted millions of people’s physical and mental health,” she says.

Jennifer Maki

Jennifer Maki, BCom, has been appointed to the board of Baytex Energy. Jennifer previously served as CEO of Vale Canada and executive director of Vale S.A., Base Metals. Before joining Vale/Inco, she worked at PwC for 10 years. Jennifer has also been a director of not-for-profit Next Generation Manufacturing Canada since September 2018 and is currently a director of the Franco-Nevada Corporation.
