The State of Sustainable Finance in Canada

Two years ago, the Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance released a robust set of recommendations to scale sustainable finance and bolster Canada’s competitive advantage. Where are we now?

As the world unites for COP26, the Institute for Sustainable Finance is leading an expert-driven assessment on the state of sustainable finance in Canada at this pivotal time for global climate action.

ISF is engaging diverse experts across the financial ecosystem to determine how far Canada has come on sustainable finance and how to accelerate that progress. This report will serve as both a benchmark and forward look at the high-level strategic priorities we must consider during this watershed moment for sustainable finance. The final findings and analysis will be released this Fall.
