As volunteer and later director for Camp Outlook, a Queen's summer camp for at-risk local kids, Janet Longmore saw first-hand the value of mentorship in the lives of children who feel overlooked. So it's no surprise that Janet turned to the non-profit sector after graduation, launching businesses committed to making change in the lives of young people.
Janet spoke to the School's magazine in 2013 about Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), her passion project founded with a mission to empower young people in the developing world to be leaders and mentors in their own communities through technology, business and entrepreneurship courses.
