Colin Harding and co-founder Conor Ross, Sci'16 created Iris Technologies to solve a problem that had plagued them both: difficulty using a computer during concussion recovery.

For many people, computer intolerance caused by concussions or migraines can force them to take time off from work or school. Iris Technologies' flagship product, a secondary computer monitor that uses e-paper technology and doesn't have the backlighting and pixel refresh rate of its LCD counterparts, was designed to allow users to stay connected and maintain productivity during recovery.
