Inaugural QBET 1977
QBET'77, Queen's Conference on the Business Environment Today, was a three-day event held at the DGCC in November 1977. Its purpose was to bring students and members of the business, labour and government communities together to discuss issues of mutual concern.
The theme the inaugural conference was 'The Government - Business Trade-off: Where should we be going?'
QBET was one of a number of new and ambitious projects initiated by the Commerce Society in 1977/78.
