Inaugural ICBC 1979

Ten universities participated in the first annual Intercollegiate Business Competition (ICBC), held at the Donald Gordon Conference Centre by ComSoc in 1979. The competition consisted of a business game, case analysis and debate on business-related issues, with the main goal being to establish links between students at various Canadian business schools, to help further discussion on significant topics and to establish relationships that will last into the future. A secondary goal of the competition was to increase the visibility of all participating universities with respect to business, government and the public at large.
