Why I went to business school: In high school, I was interested in many subjects, and business school seemed like a great way to develop a skillset that I could apply to many fields.
One thing I learned at Smith I’ll never forget is the importance of asking for help. Everyone is so willing to go above and beyond to help you, and there are endless resources available. You just need to think about what you want to achieve, and build up the courage to ask for help.
A highlight of my time at Smith: Competing at international case competitions with QCCU! It's been such a unique privilege to become great friends with my teammates, meet awesome students from all over the world, and apply everything I've learned at Smith to real-world situations.
A professor who inspired me: Kate Rowbotham. Kate is a genuine and kind person who is incredibly considerate and supportive of everyone around her.
One thing that really challenged me at Smith: Comm 434 Sales Management with Jim Hamilton. I have always been more on the introverted and soft spoken side, so Jim's class pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me build confidence in high-pressure business situations.
Best advice to future students: Just be yourself - it will all work out! :)
